Union Local Youth Basketball Tournament

The Union Local Boys Basketball Program is holding a basketball tournament for fourth, fifth and sixth grade boys on Feb. 20-21. Tournament games will be played at the high school and middle school gyms in Morristown. We are limiting the tournament to eight teams in each division and plan to run pool play to guarantee each team three games. The entry fee will be $125 per team. Entry fees received on or before Feb. 1 will receive a $25 discount. Individual trophies will be awarded to members of the first, second and third place teams (limit ten trophies per team). Buckeye Trail Youth League Basketball Tournament

The Buckeye Trail youth boys' basketball program will host a tournament for boys in grades 4, 5 and 6 on Feb. 26-28 at the Buckeye Trail Middle and Elementary school gymnasiums. Entry fee is $100 with a three game guarantee in pool play. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams (based on eight participating team for each grade level). Logan Hoop Jam Basketball Tournament

The Logan Hoop Jam Committee will be hosting its 13th annual Logan Hoop Jam in Logan, Ohio on Feb. 26-28. This is one of the premiere school boys' and girls' tournaments held in the state. There are no all-star teams, AAU, OYBA or traveling teams. The entry fee is $95 and a guarantee of three games. Trophies are awarded to the first, second and third place teams in each division. Divisions are for the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade boys and girls. The entry deadline is Feb. 10. The Philo boys and girls basketball programs are sponsoring a double elimination youth basketball tournament for girls in grades four to six Feb. 26-28.

Sandy Valley Youth Basketball Tournament
General Information: The Annual Sandy Valley Youth Basketball
Tournament is sponsored by Sandy Valley Athletics.
The tournament will be conducted on a three game guarantee basis.

Grade Levels: 5th Boys, 6th Boys, 5th Girls & 6th Girls

Dates: March 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14th 2010

Locations: Sandy Valley High School & Wellness Center Gymnasiums

Entry Fee: $100 Per Team

Registration Deadline: February 26, 2010. Don’t delay! Only first 8 teams to commit!!!

Insurance: Each Participant will be covered by his/her own (team or personal) insurance.
The tournament provides no insurance.

Awards: Individual trophies will be awarded to 1st & 2nd place.

Roster: Team rosters are limited to 12 players. It must be completed and submitted with the entry fee. The roster will become the official roster during tournament play. No substitutions will be allowed once the tournament is started. (Rosters are frozen during the duration of the tournament. No athlete can be on more than roster.

NO ALL-STAR TEAMS - STUDENTS MUST ATTEND THE SAME SCHOOL DISTRICT!

Admission: $2.00 for Adults $1.00 for Students

Free Admission: Members of the team roster and (2) coaches will be admitted free.

Refreshments: Full service refreshment stands will be available to the general public.

Information: The coach in charge must send his home address and phone number with
the registration entry form in case of cancellation due to inclement weather.

Game Jerseys: Each team must provide their own game jerseys with numbers on the back.
Numbers on the back and front side are preferred if possible.

Basketballs: Will be provided for warm-ups. Please do not bring your own basketballs.

Injuries: Ice will be provided for injuries. However, it is the responsibility of the players’
coaches or parents to attend to the injury.

The St.Clairsville recreation department will be hosting its 12th annual youth basketball tournaments for boys and girls in grades 3-6. The cost of each tournament will be 100.00 dollars. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games and can play up to 5. The following dates for the tournaments are.
3rd-4th grade boys-Feb27th and march 3rd
6th grade boys -March 6th and 9th
5th grade boys- March 13th and 16th
5th and 6th girls-march 20th and 23rd
Registration is due the Tuesday before your first tournament and schedules will be out on Wednesday.
